Erica McCall, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. McCall has been working part time at FVAH for the last 4 years. She has 10 years experience servicing Southern Colorado in both emergency and GP settings. She has a special passion for endocrine emergencies, critical care medicine, laceration and wound repair, toxicities and exotic animal medicine.
Dr. McCall received her DVM from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. She then completed an emergency-focused, small animal rotating internship at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center in 2015.
Prior to professional training, she earned multiple undergraduate degrees in science and the performing arts from UC Berkeley and CU Boulder. She also received a prestigious undergraduate summer research grant through HHMI at Harvard Medical School in 2008 as well as a year-long Conservation Internship at the Denver Zoo in 2009.
Outside of work, Dr. McCall loves adventuring with her artistically talented husband and their menagerie of fuzzy friends. She also enjoys movies, cooking, camping, road trips, theater and advocating for mental health in the veterinary profession. Dr. McCall is eager to work with you to bring best practice pet care to your family.
